How to Apply

Guru College Of Nursing

The prospectus and application form for B.Sc Nursing Degree Course are available here. Candidate can download the application form from this college website. It should be filled & submit to the college office along with the necessary documents.

ADMISSION & PAYMENT OF FEES

The students shall pay all fees of the 1st year of the course at the time of admission which will not be refunded at any circumstances.

Fee stipulated by the Fee Regulatory Committee/Govt. of Kerala is as follows:

Tuition fee – Rs. 63,500/-

Special fee – Rs. 17,000/-

Caution deposit - Rs. 10,000/- (Refundable)

All other fees due to statutory bodies (KUHS, KNMC & INC) as and when notified later by the Government.

If any candidate discontinues the course, after closing of admission as notified by the authority, the candidate has to pay the full fee of the remaining course (4years). Transfer Certificate will be issued only after payment of the above amount. Also Legal proceedings will be initiated against student/parent for realization of full amount of fees.

Admission office functions from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm on all working days.
  • The application fee will be charged Rs.500/- (five hundred) per candidate. Payable through DD/Cash. Procedure for submission of application will be completed only after payment of fees.
  • Application fee is non-refundable.
Self – attested documents required to be submitted along with application
  • Self-attested photocopy of the S.S.L.C or any relevant school records to prove date of birth.
  • Self-attested photocopy of the mark list (s) of Plus 2 or equivalent examination.
  • Physical fitnesscertificate
  • Migration Certificate
  • Transfer Certificate (TC)
  • Conduct Certificate
  • Aadhaar card
  • Allotment memo and fees receipt (LBS students)
  • Copy of Certificate in proof of SEBC/SC/ST status obtained from the Tahsildar / Village Officer / Authorities concerned, if applicable.
  • One Passport size photograph

NRI & Documents

  • Relationship certificate of the Sponsor and student to be issued by the Revenue Authorities
  • Overseas Employment Certificate issued by the Employer, attested by the Embassy
  • Passport with Visa stamped on it and attested by the Embassy.
  • A self affidavit of the relationship between sponsor and the candidate (Sponsor certificate).
  • The sponsor should be an Indian Citizen/ Overseas citizen of India/ Person of Indian Origin and relevant document to prove the same.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Criteria of eligibility for admission and selection Schedule

Academic:
  • Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education of Kerala or equivalent examinations recognized by any of the Universities in the State of Kerala with Aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and 50% marks in English only are eligible for admission.
Age:
  • Applicants should have completed 17 years of age on the 31st December 2018. No relaxation of the minimum age will be allowed.
  • Self-attested copy of relevant page of school record namely SSLC/ICSE/CBSE/ certificate showing the date of birth / copy of birth certificate should be produced at the time of admission.

SEAT ALLOCATION & SELECTION

The annual intake is 30 for B.Sc Nursing. 50% of seats allotted for LBS Students and 50% for Management Students and it is based on merit.
